Reward Recommendations

At Prolific, we encourage data collectors to pay their participants as fairly as possible for the particular skills they provide. In return, you’re more likely to be able to recruit the participants who’ll best suit your data collection needs.

The Reward Recommendations API provides recommended participant reward rates for a given currency across a set of filters. For example, if you’re using the custom groups capability, we heavily recommend that you make a request to the calculate reward recommendations endpoint, with the custom group filter IDs, before creating a draft study; you should then use the returned values to determine the reward for your study.
